Yes. We work with FFL dealers, firearms manufacturers, ammunition companies, distributors, shooting ranges, and 2A organizations. We are not an agency that puts firearms in the maybe column. We understand FFL transfers, bound books, ATF record-keeping requirements, high-risk payment processing, and the operational reality of selling regulated products online. This is a core part of what we do.

Shopify's terms of service explicitly prohibit the sale of firearms. They will shut your store down. WooCommerce technically allows it, but you are responsible for every compliance layer through fragile plugins. BigCommerce permits legal firearm sales, has no transaction fees, and provides the API access we need to build proper FFL transfer flows and integrate with high-risk payment processors. That is why we build on BigCommerce for firearms e-commerce.

Federal law requires that firearms purchased online be shipped to a Federal Firearms License holder, not directly to the buyer. The customer buys on your site, selects an FFL dealer near them at checkout, you ship the firearm to that dealer, and the customer completes a background check and picks up the firearm in person. We build this entire workflow into your BigCommerce checkout, including FFL dealer search, license validation, and shipping routing.

Card networks classify firearms merchants under a dedicated merchant category code that flags them as high-risk. Mainstream processors like Stripe and Square avoid the category entirely. Others will onboard you and then freeze funds at the first chargeback. We integrate with processors like Authorize.Net, NMI, and PayTrace that are built for and committed to the 2A industry, and we configure redundant routing so one processor issue never takes you offline.

Yes. We migrate from GunBroker-dependent setups, WordPress and WooCommerce stores, Magento, and custom legacy platforms. Product data, customer records, order history, and SEO authority are preserved. If you want to keep GunBroker as a sales channel alongside your own store, we build that integration as well.

Yes. Ammunition has its own compliance layer, including ORM-D and hazmat shipping classifications, state-level quantity and type restrictions, and age verification. Parts and accessories businesses deal with items that may or may not require FFL transfer depending on ATF classification, like frames, receivers, and certain solvent traps.
